Role: Lead Electrical Engineer

On-Site: Warner Robins, Georgia

Full-Time

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000

Recruiting Heroes is looking for a highly motivated and experienced lead Electrical Engineer to join our client at Robin’s Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work on designing and performing detailed engineering efforts as part of an integrated team at Robin’s Air Force Base to support reprogramming of critical electromagnetic spectrum support equipment installed on Air Mobility Command (AMC) aircraft.

The selected candidate will create and test critical mission data files for various systems using state of the art test equipment. The developed data files will support multiple aircraft in AMC to include the new KC-46 Tanker. This work is in support of the AMC Directorate of Strategic Plans, Requirements and Programs (A5/8).

The Lead Electrical Engineer will also coordinate with the Project Manager monthly to generate reports.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school.

Three years minimum experience working as an engineer or relevant technical field.

Strong written and oral communications capabilities.

Experience with standard office productivity products, i.e. Microsoft Work, Microsoft Excel.

Previous experience in a lead, principal, or supervisor role.

Active Secret Clearance is desired or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school.

Experience with reprogramming and mission data validation on Department of Defense hardware.

Three years experience in electromagnetic spectrum operations in a technical capacity.

Experience with digital processing applications and test simulators, such as CEESIM, A2PATS, Keysights.
